Who We Are
AISights is a Toronto-based AI visibility tracking platform that helps businesses monitor how AI platforms recommend them online. You can reach us at team@getaisights.com.
Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with AISights. When you join our waitlist or create an account, we collect your email address, business name, and any other information you choose to provide. When you use our platform, we collect the keywords you track, your AI visibility scores, competitor data you enter, and information about how you use our features. We also collect technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit on our website. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the AISights platform, send you product updates and launch notifications, process your payments, respond to support requests, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, hosted in Canada. We apply industry-standard encryption and security practices across our entire platform. Emails are sent via SendGrid and our website is hosted on Vercel.
Third Party Services
We work with the following trusted third party services to operate our platform: Supabase for database storage hosted in Canada, SendGrid for email delivery, Vercel for website hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. Each of these services maintains their own privacy policy and security standards.
Data Retention
If you cancel your subscription, we keep your data for 90 days before permanently deleting it. This allows you to reactivate your account without losing your history if you change your mind. Waitlist data is kept until you request deletion or AISights ceases operations.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information, request full deletion of your data, receive a portable copy of your data, and opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at team@getaisights.com. We will respond within 7 business days.
GDPR for European Users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent when you join our waitlist or create an account, and the performance of a contract when you subscribe to a paid plan. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have handled your data incorrectly.
PIPEDA for Canadian Users
If you are located in Canada, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. We collect only the information necessary to provide our service, obtain your meaningful consent before collecting personal information, and provide you access to your information upon request.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep our website functioning and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of our website may not work as expected.
Children's Privacy
AISights is designed for business use and intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at team@getaisights.com and we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our product evolves. We will notify you of any significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of AISights after any changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
